The Shawl Ministry ususally meets on the Second Wednesday of the Month at 9:30 am.

Compassion and the love of knitting / crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry and spiritual practice which reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace, as well as in celebration and joy. Many blessings are prayed into every shawl. If you have any questions please call Fran May at 708-447-7850. This group meets once a month.

We are always looking for new people interested in making these beautiful shawls for our homebound and ill parishioners. We would welcome any knitters or crocheters willing to spend some time learning about this ministry and making these shawls. We have had such good response from the over 130 people who have received them and hope to send out more during the winter.
