Mater Christi is a small parish in the near west suburbs of Chicago. There are approximately 1100 families in the parish.

We are located ten blocks west of First Avenue on 24th Street. The parish encompasses the Village of North Riverside and a small section of Broadview. However our parishioners also come from beyond the geographical boundaries of the parish; from towns such as Berwyn, Cicero, Brookfield and Westchester.

We gather faithfully each day to celebrate the Eucharist. Many of our parishioners are long time residents of North Riverside, they were here to build the Church and remain the backbone of our parish. The parish is growing in its ethnic diversity.
